Boys and girls, it is hard for me to pass the time when all of you leave.at the begining, I really didn't want to eat anything, the night came, I felt sad because I miss you ,several days later, when i met my next tour group, i always thought they were you, but they not .until today, when my friends call me to go shoping ,i refuse them ,because i fear to see the street we walked together.

I am very happy to see you post many photos on the blogs, I could remember the time and happiness we shared together. I hope you could post more. boys and girls, although it is hard for me to see all of you again, I still believe we will meet in future.

I would really like to thank mr. and mrs. yen, mr. and mrs.lim, Ms.Chee , the 4 teachers and

everyone behind to make this trip possible.

Now to star my reflection....
AROUND TWO WEEKS BEFORE TRIP: Preparations started 2 weeks before the trip started.We learned our line dances,speches,songs,mongolian dance and even some simple mongolian language.I tried make some friends who i was not to close with usually.

26 MAY(one night before the trip):My family and I were all excited and came very early about 8pm +(while the meeting time was 9:30pm+).We sent a letter back to our parents.At 10:30pm+ we were practizing our songs untill it was time to board the bus(3:15am sharp).

27 MAY:We took 3 tidious flights starting from early morning all the way until late afternoon.In the plane me and my friends had meals together.we did not do much in the plane as we were to tired to do anything much.We soon after reached Yinchuan airport and were warmly welcomed by the whole bunch of new friends.We then checked in and settled down.Soon after we went for a mini sight seeing of the place where we staying.Then we had our debrief.

28 MAY:We checked out.We visited Sha (sandy) lake in yinchuan.we then took a long bus ride from Yinchuan to Wuhai city.Checked in into the other hotel and waited for the next day.

29 MAY:We had our first immersion programme today at wuhai no.1 school. We did our performances there.I made a friend there.Her name is Rita.She tried her very best to talk in english with me.She even bought me a ice cream as she thought i felt hot.After that we went to see the yellow river,visit science Park and the sihemu natural park.But too bad we could not go to to the zhuozi mountains.But we went to the dessert plantation instead.
30 MAY: We had our second imerssion progammeat Wuhai no.3.W DID OUR PERFROMANCE and exchange gifts. I got a souvenier from Zhuozi mounntain we were suppose to go but could not as a rock fell blocking the way for the road.We went for flying fox after that.I was a bit afraid at first but i still went.it was a fun experince.But not forgeting the grand dinner.IT was really a grand dinner.

31 MAY:We went to the police station and learned how their police system work like and how they train.We soon after went to a kindergarden.We then went for shopping

1 JUNE :We checked out and left for yinchuan.We went to Western Movie ciy and learned some historical movie informations.We sure had fun there.We then went to this herbal shop and bought some items. We then went to th pyramid of china and saw the tombs of ancient emperor.

2 JUNE:We got on camels and learn basic what to do and what not to.We also had another grand dinner as it was birthday times for Abigail,Renee and Mrs. lim. It ended emotionally.

3 JUNE: We left, heading to singapore stoping at Shenzhen, to have our last dinner.And we took the last aiplane back.

4 JUNE:We went back home.

6 JUNE:Uploaded photos and blogs.

7 JUNE:MEET:Mrs.Yen and Mrs.lim's sister

10 JUNE:write letters, prints and send.

13 JUNE:Give apreciation letter.

A memorable trips

On 26 May 2008, we went to school to rehearse on our performance and presentation on 9.30 pm. At about 3.15pm, we head to Changi Airport to take plane to Yin Chuan.

At about 5 o'clock pm, we reached YinChuan. It was very tired bacause we totally took 3 planes in a day to go Y inChuan. It was out of our expectation as we thought we only need to take 2 planes.

The most interesting out of the trips is we get to ride a camel.It was a great experience as most of us never ride a camel before. When i am riding the camel, i kept talking to the camel. The most funny thing is i teach the camel how to go and where to go to toliet.

The most memorable thing is we get to see a goat being slaughtered infront of us. Most of us was shocked including me.

I also had make a lot of friends. The most best friend i had is xiaowang our tour guide. I ask him to be my brother so on the day we had to leave for singapore i was totally very sad. i hope to see him soon as his promise me that he will come to singapore someday.

i wish i have a chance to go oversea again and make lots of friend too.

I really enjoyed the overseas immersion programme!

I got to meet new friends, explore new things, taste new food

and get to know my schoolmates better.

Although there were some problems faced during the trip,

I still find it enjoyable.

I enjoyed the grand dinner that we had in the Mongolian Ger. It was the first i saw a ger.

I also enjoyed the Flying Fox. There were alot of first time experiences and also once in a lifetime opportunities. The camel ride was fun. I was nervous at first but I actually enjoy the ride.

Introducing measures on how Singapore manages to keep a clean and green environment to the students in Wuhai no.1 and no.2 schools was really nerve racking.
I felt very nervous when me and my schoolmates presented at Wuhai No.1 Secondary School.
But at the second school, i was more comfartable in my presentation.

I really hope to go on another overseas immersion trip like this.

The feeling of going abroad with my friends i felt bored because i feel sleeping.

My first impression of Yinchuan the air is find and it is nice place when we first on ourway to the hotel i saw many wet rice cultiuation the enviroment there not bad but there are few cars on the road and many people mostly ride a bicycle around and it a enjoyable life.

Tonight my roommates and i talk about me food we eat for dinner it nices but some of the food is spicy.And we talk about the enviroment in Yinhuan it beautiful morning is very hot at night is cold.

The natural beauty of inner Mongolia everywhere we go and see mountains ang we went to the nature park the park is beautiful.

新加坡的孩子们

2008年5月27日，或许是命中注定，这一天将是不平凡的一天，因为工作，我有幸认识了新加坡实勤中学师生，开始带领他们在中国西部地区进行八日的旅程，时间是短暂的八天很快就过去了，但是，我们之间却结下了深厚的友谊，成为了永远的朋友。在与他们相处的这段时间，新加坡的小朋友给我留下了很深刻的印象，希望他们回去之后可以好好学习，我也会努力奋斗，争取有机会可以到新加坡去看望他们！

I was very impressed with the China scenery when i reached Yinchuan.I was very surprised that many people welcoming us.I feel very grateful for them as we don't think other countries' people don't receive welcomes when they reached Singapore.
The main thing I admire is that the No.1 and the No.3 secondary school students.I admire the passionate to study of the students in the two secondary school.If I have the time there,I would like to interect with the China students more and I would like to tell them more about Singapore.
We went to many desserts of Wuhai City and i have experienced the camel ride.It was a fun experience and i will always remember my roommate,the 34 students going for the Inner Mongolia trip,the teachers,the principals,Mr Yen and Mrs Yen,Mr and Mrs Lim and last but not least,our tour guide,Mr Wong :).

This 8 days spent in inner mongolia will be a precious memory to me,i will never forget this 8 days experience. It is my first time goin abroad with my friendsand i feel happy,excited,we arec just like one big family. My 1st impression of yinchuan is that it is a dry and dusty city and is very big.

The immersion programme at wuhai no1 and no3 school was really exciting as im the MC of our school. ireally scared that i would forget the lines i suppose to say but fortunately i did not.the pupils from that school also gave us a really warm welcome.

we also visit the Huaxia western Movie city,i like the movie city as it was a very good experience which can see the place people make movie and many famous stars are also there.

my most memorable moment during the trip is thatim so touched when one of my friends from wuhai no1 school came to visit me in the hotel which made me so touched.

It tells me alot of the country. Their country's air are so bad.i can smell the air and i can tell.
It was a wonderful experience. I feel that the trip was meaningful and very nice.I enjoy it there. the kids were very kind the food there were delicious and the people there were kind. I really spend a great time. my roomate were funny so is my group member.

my experience from the camel riding
I knew the camel was very nice and beautiful. it was cute and a little bit hairyand strong. I know that the camel hair can be eaten and tear off. I name my camel Bread and it was so cute and strong and fast. It could catch up with the other camels.

The most memorable moment
The most memorablemoment was when the part where we all had a grand dinner in the monolia ger which was also big and colourfull.

This trip had really changed my expectation of Inner Mongolia.I really enjoyed the days with everyone during the 8 days.

My first desert climbing experience was fun but also tiring.The flying fox was something beyond my imagination as I am afraid of heights. But after a long decision,i finally managed to overcome my fear by gathering all my courage.I was the last one to take the flying fox.

We visited 2 schools,a police station and a kindergarten.I made a lot of friends with the Wuhai No.1 and No.3 School.The kids in the kindergarten were cute.Our school presented on Singapore's environment while the students there presented about their country's environment.

I felt miserable leaving Inner Mongolia after getting use to its culture and environment.It is a golden opportunity for me to be involved in this immersion programme.I want to express my appreciation to everyone who had organised this trip and had made it into a successful one.

Last start wif my reflection...

When i heard that we are going to inner mongolia i am so happy. I am so fortunate that i am selected. I am so excited until i cant sleep :D when its time to go i check my luggage over and over again.

When its time to go school ,I cannot wait for the time we assemble. When we raech at yinchuan am so happy!!! Can't wait to reach inner mongolia. At first i thought that inner mongolia is a small country and the place is dirty but its not... The place is so huge and the scenery was nice :) we reach the inner mongolia they warm welcome us. As i say the country wad so big.

My first experience on desert triring but fun and i enjoy it so much.I like to climb the desert mountain. The visit was fun and enjoyable. I hope I would given another opportunity,If there is another Immersion Programme. I hope our friendship will last long :D i miss MR WANG...

Reflection going to INNER MONGOLIA

I think going to inner mongolia this year was a very good experience for me. I learn many things there.We went to two cities:Wuhai & Yin Chuan.We went to three schools total:Wuhai No.1 Secondary School,Wuhai No.3 Secondary School & Kindergarden.We live in two different hotels:Shahu Hotel & Xinyun Hotel.Now i will tell you more about our schdule in the inner mongolia..

Day one(27 may)Tuesday

Assemble at singapopre changi airport (budget terminal)for our flight to yinchuan(transit in guangzhou for the domestic flight).

Upon arrival,dinner will be served.

Check in Shahu Hotel.

Day two(28 may)Wednesday

Check out shahu hotel.

Visit sha(sandy)lake in yinchuan-home to a variety of fishes and birds.

Travel to wuhai.Dinner will be served.

Check in xinyun hotel

Day three(29 may)Thursday

1st immersion programme at wuhai no.1 secondary school by coach.

After lunch,proceed to binhe district to see the yellow river,visit science centre,sihemu natural park & zhao shao cave mural at zhuozi mountain.

Day four(30 may)Friday

2nd immersion programme at wuhai no.3 secondary school by coach.

After lunch,tour the golden sand bay where you will experience flying fox & have a taste of the dessert.

Day five(31 may)Saturday

3rd immersion programme at wuhai police centre.

Service learning at kindergarden

Then shopping!!!

Day six (1 june)Sunday

Leave wuhai city to yinchuan city.

Tour the huaxia western movie city.

Visit the western xia mausoleums-the pyramids in china

Check in shahu hotel.

Day seven(2 june)Monday

Leave the sha po tou(camel ride,looking of the goat made thing & sitting the jeep)
Visit bingou tourist attraction park.
Day eight(3 june)Tuesday

Check out shahu hotel.
Take a coach to sightseeing in yinchuan city.
Proceed to airport for the flight back to singapore(transit in shenzhen)

we had fun during the trip.Other than having fun, we also learn how to appreciate the food we have in singapore and also the weather and environment in singapore. the people in wuhai no1 and no3 school were friendly. we also made friends there. the activities that i enjoyed the most during the trip was the flying fox and the jeep riding..

the school in wuhai no1 is very big, which i think was like 10 times bigger than ours. the experience in the flying fox is very fun and exciting. when the last part came, it was very fast. then, all my frens all went for the flying fox. after all that, the photos were given out. i did not get my photo because maybe they did not took my photo...
the jeep riding feels like roller coaster..is was like very fun...

Mongolia Trip

This Mongolia trip make me feel that even if i am not in Singapore i will still learn something, something that Singaporeans doesn't have ... That is the willingness to learn ...

Overall i enjoy my self during this trip if we can behave ourselves properly we will enjoy more during this trip ...

Over there the air is quite cooling we visited two schools which is Wuhai Yi Zhong and Wu Hai San Zhong if you ask me which one i prefer i would prefer the Wuhai Yi Zhong because there is more communication between us and Wu Hai Yi Zhong ...

We still enjoy ourselves so just wished you guys have happy and enjoyable holidays ...

My Reflection About Inner Mongolia

On the day when we would informed that we got a chance to go Inner Mongolia for an immersion programme, I was very excited as we can had a chance to know more about Inner Mongolia.As we would going to the school for a presentation about Singapore environment and SGS Npcc so after our exam we practise presenting the PowerPoint, the line dance and the Mongolian dance. We practise the presentation, line dance and the Mongolian dance almost everyday before going to Inner Mongolia.

We have visited 2 Wuhai Secondary Schools[namely Wuhai No.1 and Wuhai No.3], 1 police centre and kindergarten in Inner Mongolia.The Wuhai School were much bigger than ours school.i was surprised that the people there can speak good English as they don't not spoke English fluently everyday.We also went to the desert.We try the flying fox and the camel ride.It was my first time trying the flying fox and camel ride.It was quite fun and interesting.We visited the desert vegetation too.We don't get to see such a thing in Singapore.

I think that almost everyone gain something important from this trip.I think that 8 days say long not long say short not short.When this trip ended,many of us including me shed. It was really a memorable trip and it will always stay in my heart forever.And i never regret going to Inner Mongolia.

The whole trip was very fun and i got to make more friends with both the Mongolians and of course people in the same group as me.It was very scary at first as i only know afew people.But things got better after awhile and i made more friends.After some plane flights, we reached Yinchuan.My first impression of Yinchuan is that it looks quite like Singapore.

The Wuhai Police Centre has survilliance camera to monitor certain places.They also have a training room which has equipments inside it.There is also a room for their shooting practise.

The camel ride at Shapotou was very fun and exciting.We also fed the camels and it looks very cute while it is eating.The teacher said that camels only have fifteen years to live so the camels that we rode on were only 4-5 years old.We then rode the jeep and it is something like the roller coaster except that it is on the sand and not on tracks.

During the pre-trip activities, we did alot of preparation like our line-dancing, songs and presentations. We only have two weeks to do all our preparation after our exams; it was a tiring but fun process. On the 26th of june we came to school at night to work on our presentations.3.15am we was on our way to airport to took our flight to inner mongolia.We took total of 3flight which took 12hours,to reach our destination.When we reach YinChuan,the people give us a warm welcome which i was very touch.
During this trip we have our immersion with the WuHai NO.1 and NO.3 secondary school.I was impress with their dance and speech as they can speak so well tat not all singaporean can speak same as them.During this few day in inner mongolia our tourguide (Xiao Wang) treated us so good like we are his sister which made us don't feel going back to singapore.In this trip cried alot,first is i cried for the goat tat they serve us the entire goat which have the head on it which i take it.Acttually this is to showed us the highest respect for us.My second time is when we need to go back to singapore which i can't bear to leave there!
During this trip i learn how to preservance when we are walking on the dessert and learn how to tolorance with each other.This oso build up our teamwork and friend,this is wat money can buy!

It is the first time where i could go overseas with my friends and teachers.It is very exciting and i was very nervous.Before this trip,i don't know most of them but after all the training sessions,i get to know most of them.My first impression of Yin Chuan is that the place there is very clean and the weather there is very cold.The first night,i talk to my roomate about what we saw the whole day.During the day,though the sun is very hot,but the wind is very strong.My first impression of WuHai city is that there is very less people,while there are many banks and hotels for businessman ,it is quite deserted.

The 1st immersion programme at Wuhai No 1 secondary school,firstly i was very nervous,and i did not expect them to welcome us so warmly and i get to know 6 of them and i am very very glad to know them.

The natural beauty of Inner Mongolia,the yellow river is very beautiful and clean and the mountain there are very high and beautiful.

My Reflection On The Inner Mongolia Trip : )

The Inner Mongolia Immersion Trip which I and 33 other students and 4 teachers
not forgetting Mr and Mrs Lim and the Principal.For this trip we had 2 weeks of per-trip preparations.We learned our 3 Line dances and the 2 songs.We also spend time to prepare our environmental club and NPCC presentation.
Our stay there was wonderful because of their warm hospitality and we were very thankful for that.We all have a fun and wonderful time there and we learn a lot things like how people travel on the Yellow River at ancient time.We also go to a lot of places like Shahu and Sha Po Tou.
I felt very touch when we were leaving Wuhai because they do a lot of things just for us and they even come to YinChuan on the last day to see us off.The trip had made me learn a lot of things about their culture and environment.I will not regret going for this trip.

from the first day we reach Inner Mongolia,i feel really excited.Because this is my first time going to such a far country.My first impression of YinChuan,is like when we are on our way to the hotel, i saw many wet rice cultivation, the environment there was not that bad. on that night, my roomate and i talked about the food we eat for dinner which is very nice. we also talked about the environment in yinchuan which is beautiful. when it is morning,it's hot and in the night.the second dayin wuhai city,when we reach wuhai,i saw a lot of mountain.the place is very dusty,there are not much people walking around.

Reflectabout the 1st immersion programme at wuhai no.1 secondary school
their school are very big and nice. and noticed that the students there are very friendly.one of the students named He Ting bought us,(me and pamela) ice-cream. we wanted to pay her the money but the insisted us to keep the money.

the difference are the students in wuhai no 1 and no3 are:students in wuhai are more friendly they will talk to mepersonally but wuhai no3 student, we have to go to then and talk to them.and wuhai no1 school is bigger than wuhai no3.

The day i reach yinchuan, i thought i was dreaming as the wind that blow toward me was cold and chilling,the feeling was very cooling as in Singapore the wind was warm rather than cold. when i first reach the Wuhai No.1 secondary school i was very nervous as i was the MC, i was very surprised by their student as their performance was very good and i felt embarrass to compare our presentation with them.
When at the Wuhai No.3 secondary school, our confidence became better as our experience in Wuhai No.1 secondary school help us. At the kinder garden the kids was cute and lively and their performance was super! The scenery there was very nice and this trip allowed me to experience the dessert, also to understand more about what the people of Wuhai done to help block the sand from blowing into the city.
We also understand more about China history like where is the tomb of the early emperor and their culture and the type of crops they plant around the yellow river. We also play many exciting games like flying fox and the jeep riding which makes all of us very happy, at the end of our trip i learn to be more responsible and learn how to endure and persevere through hardship.

My Experience in Inner Mongolia

I believe that the trip to Inner Mongolia was an experience that no word can describe.I had alot of fun and learnt a lot of things.we visited alot of places i never imagined to see.We went to the dessert and saw the yellow river.

During the 8 days in inner mongolia I learnt alot of things and values such as tolerence-how to tolerate and live with our Friends, perseverance- to practice late into the night for our presentation and discipline-to wake up on time everyday and follow instructions.

The immersion to the schools was a new experience and an eye opener to show how lucky we are to be studying in Singapore. I also look up to the students in the schools as even though their english is not very good the put their best foot forward and did their best and spoke with alot of confidence.

I have never been to desserts before and only seen them on TV i was amazed to see the beautiful scenery. I hoped to go back to the desert with my family and show them the beauty of it.

On the way back to Yinchuan in the bus i saw all the grassland and i was amazed that such a beautiful place is so polluted. I really hope to go back in the future to help them.

my reflection[inner mongolia]

This is my second overseas trip with Serangoon Garden Secondary School. I still felt excited and anxious though. We went to Yinchuan,which environment is not that clean. I also had a taste of the drastic temperature change between the day night.

Followed by visiting the Wuhai City, the environment was not that clean too but I tried to make myself to be able to adapt in different environments. I also managed to see sand storm with my own eyes and also understand more about it. After seeing both cities environment it really reflects me of the environment we living in Singapore.

We also went to two secondary schools for immersion programmes, I also tried walking barefooted in the desert,it was tiring but when we reached our destination,the satisfactory is beyond words.

When i reached the Wuhai Police Centre, I was being attracted by its tall buildings. Our Singapore NPC and the Wuhai Police Centre sizes cannot be compared! The NPC in Singapore has only two to three floors whereas the Wuhai Police Centre has a total of six floors. The whole stretch of corridor were their offices. Pistols, their training place and their shooting room were introduced to us. Mr Yen the officer there also shared with us the whole Wuhai's streets, it was clear and they can noticed crimes easily. There are more videos cameras in Wuhai than in Singapore as the country itself is much more bigger than Singapore. GPS is very useful in Singapore and had been using for quite long while in Wuhai, they are still in the process of building. In Wuhai the police officers had different uniforms for different seasons,while Singapore police officers wore the same uniform. Wuhai police officers also wear different uniform during patrolling and training.

We visited Huaxia Movie City and Western Xia Mausoleums and knew more China's movies and the history of China. I tried the camel ride and jet and both rides were cool and unforgettable.
When this trip ended,many of us including me shed. It was really a memorable trip and it will always stay in my heart.

I feel that overall almost everyone gained something important from this trip.From international awareness,Cultural Savvy,Rootedness...etc.8 Days might sound long but its not.Even the last day,i still don't feel like going home.Although everyone misses their parents.

In this Immersion programme,we visited 2 Wu Hai Schools(namely Wu Hai No1 and Wu Hai No 3),a Police Centre and a kindengarden.The Wu Hai Schools were much bigger compared to ours.We went there to exchange our knowledge.We presented about our Environment,Singapore,Our School and about NPCC.While they Presented about their school,their country and their environment.Their speakers speak very fluently.We also exchanged gifts.I hope they will contact me.In the end,everyone made new friends.

The Cities we visited(Yin Chuan and Wu Hai) were beautiful.There were also deserts.The sand texture was amazing.It feels like snow in your palms.Only thing the sand is warm not cold.We sat on camels too.It was a great experience.We visited a Desert vegetation too.We don't get to see such a thing in Singapore.

People there are kind.I will never forget this Wonderful experience.

Jia Wen's reflection to Inner Mongolia

A big group of 34 pupils plus 4 teachers and a principal went to a learning journey to Inner Mongolia. We spent two weeks of preparation to get ourselves ready to be able to perform on the stage at Wuhai no 1 and 3 school. Our hard work had paid off as we did quite well on stage.

During this eight days, I feel that i had learned a lot from the trip as i builded up my confidence , leadership and I learn to be more sensitive to the others. Besides learning, we had tons of fun too. Going to the desert was a great experience. There are just somethings you can never get to do in Singapore and without my friends encouragement i would never dare to dare things like the flying fox, camel riding and a ride on the geep. Besides having fun, we went sight seeing too. Unique places like yellow river, Sihemu,Science museum, desert plantation, golden sand bay and western xia Mausoleums.

I still remember vividly how worried and scared i was during the first day I went to Yinchuan. Morover, i made friends from Wuhai no 1 and 3 school and also friends fronm my own school. I really enjoyed the trip, more importantly, i benefited a lot.

A Learning Jounery to Inner Mongolia

All teachers and students had a fruitful and enriching experience at Inner Mongolia. To many of us, the place is like a faraway land that we will never dream of going. It was a right choice to go there and memories of the trip would stay with us forever.

We went to two secondary schools for immersion. The two schools presented about environmental problems and management of their own countries. I was impressed with the speech delivered by the Chinese students. Our students did well but I believe with more practise and confidence, they can do better. I am also very impressed with the cultural performances of the Chinese students who showed great talents and knowledge in the Chinese culture.

We visited the cities of Yin Chuan and Wu Hai. They were like any other Chinese cities with similar building facade and infrastructure. However, I was amazed by the greening effort of Wu Hai City. We could see trees and shrubs being planted everywhere. Great efforts have been carried out to protect the city against the threat of desertification. Rows of trees forming green belts could be found at the fringe of the city to protect the city against the enroaching sand blown from Gobi Desert. In Wu Hai, there was even a place which was named after the Garden City of Singapore. We can see the influence the little red dot had on a faraway city like Wu Hai.

I would like mention something about the people of Inner Mongolia. It was my first time interacting with so many Chinese who provided us with great warmth and hospitality. All of us had become friends by the end of the trip. I believe we would never forget this wonderful experience.

Survival in a fast changing world -- Inner Mongolia Immersion Programme

To immerse our pupils in the history and cultures of Inner Mongolia through interaction with students and locals in China and Inner Mongolia, a group of 34 Secondary two pupils and 7 teachers; including our principal, Mr and Mrs Lim, went for a 8 days 7 nights trip from 27th May - 3rd June 2008.

During these 8 days of visit, we have visited 2 secondary schools, 1 police establishment and 1 kindergarten in Wu Hai City at Inner Mongolia - China. Our pupils shared with the pupils in the 2 secondary schools, spreading environmental awareness (waste management and Newater). Our NPCC cadets also shared our co-curricular activities in school. Beside given the opportunites to experience life in a foreign country, our students were given opportunities to be more independent and take up leadership roles. New friendships and closer bonding among the teachers and students were fostered during these eight days.

There were many 'first time' that many of us have experienced. For examples; the drastic temperature change between day and night, interaction with the teachers, pupils and police officers of another country, Stepping on the sand in the desert, touching the beautiful nature such as the yellow river and the Si He Mu (A type of rare plant that can only be found in Inner Mongolia). Not forgetting the Camels rides and the Jeep ride.

This trip is indeed an eye opener for many of us especially the visits to some places such as Huaxi Western Movie City, Western Xia Mausoleums, Sha Po Tou, Sha Hu Dao, Yellow River, Shi He Mu and etc. Not forgetting the Mutton Milk and meat that we have had.

We were really grateful for the great hospitality by the planning committee which have made these trip an unforgettable one for all of us. Cheers!
